I urge anyone who acquires Madame Glamour and also has access to Coco Mademoiselle to try the blind test game - it is most educational! But in the last four years the quality has become compromised and most of my fav Chanels now are no longer impressive . The name "En Rose" is misleading, it being a dupe of LVEB, which doesn't have any rose in it; but Lidl is already known for its oddly named fragrances.

Madame Glamour starts out much more citrical than Mademoiselle - a spicy bergamot lemon note (the lemon is not in Chanel, I think) and light, bitter grapefruit. My local Lidl never did get this in, would you believe, and Cien deodorants have now taken up permanent residence where the perfume should have been (and where the original two scents used to be - now also sold out). We do not represent our products to be from the original designer brand nor do we represent them to be exact copies and therefore we do not violate any copyright/trademark laws.For me the most significant difference is the strength, certainly, yet SMG seems to have decent staying power on your skin, from what you say.

The only ascertainable difference was that Coco lingers a little longer and has a little more resonance.Apparently on The Wright Stuff yesterday they did a blind test between this and Coco Mademoiselle and they chose the Lidl version as the best scent! I just went to my local Lidl, and not only did it not have any Madame Glamour in - it had gone and put three trays of deodorant where the perfumes should have been! CCM lasts for ages on me – right through until I wake up if I don’t shower or bathe before bed (yeah it happens sometimes. I have the Lidl Suddenly Diamonds which is a dupe for Hugo Boss Orange edt, which is more my style and works really well with my skin chemistry.

I must say, as I sit here on this midly warm day, I am getting delightful wafts of this Suddenly Madam Glamour. The cheek of a budget supermarket selling something that vaguely smells like my 100 Euro bottle Chanel.

It’s really similar to coco mademoiselle, in my teenage days i used this perfume in school it was so refreshing for the morning. Even if the bottle looks a bit cheap with its wobbly, sharp-edged metal ring and the ketchup bottle shape in mini version - the scent looks noble and expressive and you don't wear the scent around in the bottle, but spray it on formlessly.I do know what you mean about Coco Mlle being sharper, while SMG is a bit weak and watery by comparison. For those who like to have various fragrances in their drawer with more and less expensive fragrances, it is a fragrance that can not miss if you obviously love the most famous fragrance Chanel Coco Mademoiselle !
