If so what dilution, plus would I need to add a bit of soap to get it to mix with water for spraying?

Either Provado concentrate will do for mealies. There is also a Bug Clear concentrate with a similar systemic.BTW, both now contain Thiacloprid which is in the same class as Imidacloprid, but is used at a slightly different concentration. Imidacloprid is now out of patent protection and Bayer have been subtly running it down as inferior to Thiacloprid. Wwithout ever saying so explicitly, because that would be untrue Neither product kills spider mites. The aerosol kills spider mites but only because it contains a separate ingredient. Otherwise all Imidacloprid-containing products kill the same things despite what the label can be bothered to list. Use either if you're sufficiently knowledgeable to calculate the correct concentration, otherwise get one with a label that describes the way you want to use it.
