This citrus gin is a unique mix of the classic and the contemporary in gin distillation, combining a time-honoured juniper base with an exciting citrus flourish. No surprise, this one is another gin from Liverpool, and while the bottle says quite clearly “Liverpool 1207”, the date refers to the founding of the city, not the gin or the distillery where it has been made. Their gin, which is probably the easiest of all to find, is made from juniper, coriander, angelica roots and citrus fruits and is defined by a balanced, botanical flavour with a cereal note and a citrus finish.According to Tappers, it’s a gin which earnestly reflects the nature of the English coast… but you’re probably best off tasting it yourself to make sure. They mention it's a delicious gin, a very nice vodka, and has a subtle citrus and black pepper flavour.
