But they wanted them to have a divided happiness – one of them can have the happiness of staying in the town to have a fulfilling career; and the other can have the future happiness of finding love in a more tolerant place. But they can’t have those two things in the same place and with each other.

I liked their relationship a lot though I will say that I felt it could’ve been a bit more developed. I feel like they didn’t really know each other as we don’t really get to see them have really meaningful and bonding moments. I wanted to see why they were so attracted to each other and feel more of their connection.
